Bonar Bridge lies opposite the village of Ardgay, between the Kyle of Sutherland and the head of the Dornoch Firth.

The Bradbury Centre

The Bradbury Centre is well positioned in Bonar Bridge, with views across the Kyle of Sutherland. The Centre is well known within the community and has built a good reputatuon for the services we provide to the older community members. We are co-located with the Medical Centre and the new Migdale Hospital which makes it ideal for supporting local older people in recovery from illness or those receiving Rehabilitation and Reablement Service.

Some History

The Bradbury Centre is a purpose built centre for the over 60’s and those with special needs. The building of the Bradbury Centre was started in the autumn of 1997 and opened in June 1998 . It was made possible through the generosity of a number of charitable trusts, of which the Bradbury Foundation (Hong Kong & Shanghai Bank) was a major contributor-hence the Centre’s name. However none of this would have been possible without local support and fund-raising.
